The project shows that diversity is the wealth of society and the development of the condition. European values (democracy, cultural diversity, tolerance, solidarity, responsibility, respect for self and other cultures, etc.), highlights the project activities in order to develop the various countries of students, teachers, and through their communities, become active and responsible members of the European Union. Project participants get an idea of the diversity of cultures, to be culturally tolerant and cooperative.
While working on the project with the partners from different Europeans countries students, teachers and also parents of the students will have the opportunity to learn about other cultures and countries through experience - meeting those cultures, people during project meetings but also by sharing information throuigh the internet and working together on the project theme. Students, teachers and parents will be able to talk in English during the project meetings and while hosting guests. They will learn that friendship is a universal value and it can break down boundaries. They will learn what distinguish local societies as well as what they have in common. In this way they will improve the knowledge of the Community and its Members States in their historical, cultural, economic and social aspects and bring home to them the significance of the co-operation of Member States of the European Community with other countries of Europe and the world.
We could add those below: On students' level - learn about cultural similarities and differences in Europe, - developed multicultural awareness, - develop themselves personal skills and creativity, - keeping touch in communication with other participating institutions even after finishing the project, - build up interest for learning during their whole life.
On staff levels - getting to know other school systems, new and various ways of teaching, - be able to share ideas and experiences, - opportunity to fight against discrimination and racism, - open a window of project team work thank to this international cooperation.
On the institutional level - getting more experience planning and organising internatioanal activities, - arranging organisational skills in order to improve the quality of education, - as institutions will be able to more actively participate in European integration, - showing neighburing schools the importance of such cooperations.
